A resin model of a historic building, made with a drone survey, photogrammetry and 3D printing, then finished by hand with artistic painting.
From drone to model: the process
1 Survey
A drone captures detailed images of the building.
2 Photogrammetry
The photos become an accurate 3D model.
3 Printing and finishing
Resin printing and hand painting.
A scalable, sectionable model
The model can be reproduced at different scales and can be sectioned to show the interiors, recreating the original furnishings and functions of the rooms. The two models reproduce:
Today
The current state of the building.
Yesterday
A reconstruction at its period of greatest splendour.
